Aussie hair.

Hey!

This week's blog is about Aussie hair products, I actually found that I won't go back to any other products after using these. They have made my hair come back to life in a short amount of time.

I have been dying my hair since I was in year 4, my mum used to put highlights in it and then as I got older I wanted to experiment with different colours - I went from dark brown to blonde then decided I wanted blue in it, after blue I went back to blonde then not long later I wanted my hair dip dyed pink so I had that, which ended up damaging my hair so much! (wouldn't recommend it)

I have recently had my hair dyed back to a brown with a few blonde bits, when the pink was growing out the ends of my hair broke off I discovered 'Aussie'. I first of all discovered the '3 minute miracle reconstructor deep conditioner' I used it once a week for and slowly started to notice the difference it was making to my hair. Eventually my hair has got back to its normal condition, its started to grow longer again and I make sure I have it cut every 6-8 weeks to make sure it stays healthy.

My sister works in a salon and a customer came in with a bag of Aussie products, my sister doesn't use Aussie so gave them to me and they've also helped my hair. The one I'm using at the moment is called 'Colour Mate' I use both the shampoo and conditioner and it has left my hair feeling silky smooth. Colour Mate has peach extract in so your hair will be smelling lovely too! As usual I will post all links at the end of the blog :)

You can either buy these products from
Boots The Chemist - prices ranging : £4.69-£5.99
Superdrug - prices ranging : £0.99-£5.99
Savers- £0.99-£5.99 (I always get my products from Savers as they work out cheaper per bottle, today I bought the shampoo and conditioner both for £5.98, from the other stores they charge £4.49 per bottle)

Thanks for reading!

Undress Me Too.

Hey Guys!

I have decided for this weeks blog to do a review on MUA's eyeshadow palette, Undress Me Too, this is one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes to wear and it if it were in a save, spend or splurge it would definitely be in save as its only £4! You can buy MUA products from Superdrug or at the MUA website, I will post the link at the end.

I discovered the Undress Me Too palette over a year ago when I was doing a make up photography shoot and didn't want to spend a lot of money as I was a student at the time and was using the make up on my models. I then discovered how well the make up stayed on and also the tones you can create with the different colours in the palette.

The colours I would use when I use Undress Me Too, the white palette, are:
Shy
Lavish
Tranquil
Exposed
Reveal
Wink
Obsessed

I tend to use these colours because they are a mix of light and dark browns, which I've found bring out my eyes more (I have bluey/green eyes), at first I would only use one colour but then I wanted to experiment and discovered you could blend the colours to make different tones and effects with the eyeshadows. You can also get another eyeshadow palette, which is similar colours, called Undress Me (the black palette).

This is they eye make up I like to create, its quick and easy to create and only takes 3 colours to do!
Lavish, Exposed and Obsessed - to finish the look off I add the They're Real Benefit Eyeliner, of course this is optional, and mascara.

I hope you like this post! MUA is a really good brand and is a good option for those of you who can't afford expensive/branded make up, its a good alternative from the Benefit 'Goodies a go-go'.

Daily make up routine

Hi!

Happy New Year...hope 2015 has been a good year for you so far!

I thought I'd post a photo with the make up I use on a daily basis and how it normally looks after. The make up I use is all from Benefit Cosmetics and I will post the links to the website too so if you want to buy any you're just a click away :)

I start off with the 'They're Real remover' this will remove any excess eyeliner, eyeshadow or mascara you still have on. I then apply the 'Porefessional' to smooth my skin out and as it is a primer it keeps my make up on all day. The foundation I use is 'Hello Flawless' I use Honey (I'm so money), I have done a blog on Hello Flawless before so I will put the link at the end. 'Feelin' Dandy' is one of my newer Benefit products I have - I love the fact it gives your skin a warm glow...sometimes if I want to I will add 'Hoola' bronzer over the top. 'Goodies a go-go' is also a new product I have, inside it includes 4 mini eyeshadows, eyeshadow primer and a mini 'They're Real' mascara, I tend to mix all 4 eyeshadows together and use the lightest as a highlighter under my eyebrows. Most of the time I will then apply 'They're Real' eyeliner and mascara.

In this photo I haven't got the Hoola bronzer on but I am wearing everything else I mentioned! :) It is quite a natural look which is why I like it and doesn't take long to do!

Hair Rehab!

Hey guys!

Sorry I didn't post last week, I've been getting busy at work now as its coming up to christmas I've been working pretty much every day.

This week I was going to do a video tutorial on my daily make up routine, I still might if I get a chance so keep an eye out :) now I had to think of something else to write about I know this is meant to a make up blog but I also want to talk about other beauty products so am changing it to a beauty/fashion blog!

I have used hair extensions for a while now, normally only when I go out but recently I have changed hair colour so didn't really want to buy more or colour my extensions so I ordered a hair piece from Lauren Pope's range at Hair Rehab London, I ordered the syn wrap ponytail in Blondette, it arrived today after ordering it friday and I am really happy with it! I was unsure what colour I would need so sent a photo to their colour match service and they emailed back with the colour I should get, the colour they recommended was perfect!

The ponytail is easy to apply, you simply put your hair up in a pony tail,  slide the clip in, wrap the ponytail round and clip the extra bit of hair so it looks natural. The particular hair piece I got you can buy online at http://www.hairrehablondon.com I got mine for less than £30 with postage&packaging.

I will post a better photo Sunday night on my twitter and will include in next weeks blog so you can see what it looks like properly! Hope you decide to buy something from them, I highly recommend it!

Hello Flawless!

Hey :)

Hope you've had a good week and done some fun stuff for bonfire night. I managed to see some fireworks last night as they were cancelled Saturday due to the crap weather so I was happy as I'm a big kid when it comes to fireworks haha.

This week I wanted to do a blog on Benefit, I absolutely love their cosmetics and have done for years thanks to my auntie! She has always used them for as long as I can remember so I've always had 'expensive taste' in make up as my mum says. However, even though Benefit may seem expensive compared to brands like Rimmel London or Maybelline the products actually last much longer in comparison. I have just run out of my foundation I got from Benefit which I bought in May and I have used it everyday, sometimes twice a day if I'm going out and I want to reapply, and the foundation I personally use now is called 'Hello Flawless'.

Hello Flawless has an SPF in it so when its sunny it will protect your skin from getting damaged. The reason why I love this foundation so much is that it gives great coverage and you only need to apply a tiny amount which will last all day. You can also buy a Hello Flawless powder and a Stay Flawless primer so if you wear all three you are guaranteed to have your make up on all day!
(Personally I use Porefessional, also by Benefit.)

The photo on the left is before I applied Hello Flawless, the photo on the right is after. As you can see it makes my skin look so much better, gives an even tone and even managed to hide the bags under my eyes! Its like magic in a tube 😍

The colour of my foundation is Honey (i'm so money), you can buy it online at https://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk or go into your local Boots or Debenhams where you should find a counter so if you are unsure of the colour you need someone can help you out!

Happy Halloween/Bonfire Night!

Hey Guys!

Hope this week has been fun for you all and my tips are working! Halloween is a good time of year for make up as you can get creative, if its messy it doesn't matter and everyone gets involved!

I was allowed to dress up for work on halloween this year so I went as a devire (devil/vampire) so I made sure my face was white, I put red face paint on my eyes with some eyeliner and mascara and I created a black/red lip stick with the face paint too. I was happy with my overall look, it was pretty quick and easy too!

I'd love to see what you all dressed up as too and whether my tips from previous weeks have been working - tweet me @LydiaCoopster!

Have a sparkly bonfire night too :)
