Fresh faced

Hey guys :)

I hope you've all had a good day, whether you've been at school, work or just chilling like me. I've had a pretty busy few weeks so its been nice to relax today and not do too much to be honest, the best thing about not doing much is that you don't have to put make up on which is great for your skin as it gives your skin time to breath.

I try to let my skin have a no make up day at least once a week, I've been doing it for a while now and I've really started to notice a difference in how my skin has improved! When i was a teenager I used to get loads of spots all the time and even though I went to an all girls school I'd feel like I would still have to make an effort because there were prettier girls than me, skinnier than me and smarter than me so even though there were no boys to impress I would always put more make up over my spots to try and hide them. Of course teenagers get spots its all to do with hormones etc and I knew putting more make up over them wasn't good for my skin, infact it probably made it worse, however at the time I was so embarrassed I would probably cake it on, which also wasn't a good look.

If you can try and wear no make up for a day once a week or even once a month, you will eventually notice an improvement even if it takes a while it will be worth it in the long run. Also a plus side of this is you'll become more confident, today I went out to numerous shops with no make up on and I would never have done that about 4 months ago but there I was today not bothered about what people thought so it can boost your confidence too!

I thought I would even upload a photo so you can see how clear my skin is looking now, its definitely healthier now.

Hopefully you'll do this and eventually have more confidence with who you are :)
