InstaNatural Argan Oil 💆

Hey Guys!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback.

I loved this product its easy to use, smells lovely and you can leave it on overnight! However, I only left it on for around 7-10 minutes due to the fact I was going out after both times I used it. Its great because you can have a nice soak in the bath whilst you're waiting for it to treat your hair its not a difficult treatment and its ever so relaxing.

The directions are stated on the bottle so you don't need to keep the box, you only need a tiny amount too which is great as it will last longer!
As it says on the bottle you wet your hair, apply then rinse off with shampoo and condition if you please.

I have to be honest I was worried about using this product due to the fact my hair tends to get greasy quickly however it hasn't made a difference to how often I wash my hair it has left it feeling soft after use and smelling lovely. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants to take extra good care of their hair.

As usual I will post the links to the products at the end, you can get this from Amazon and Instanatural.com.

InstaNatural Argan Oil Hair Mask 💆

Hey Guys!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback.

When I was contacted to write a review on this product I was very excited as my hair is long and is forever breaking off, so I was looking forward to trying something which could possibly help my hair. I tried this product after I shampoo'd my hair and then rinsed it off after 15 minutes, some people tend to use a conditioner after using conditioning treatments but I didn't. When the treatment was on I wrapped my hair in a towel so it could soak in better and help the rest of my hair as I only applied it to the ends as thats where the majority of the damage is.

This smells lovely, the pot is a very good size and will last a while as you only need a bit. It left my hair dryer on the ends which was fine for me as my hair tends to get greasy quickly so it meant it stayed cleaner for a bit longer. I tend to wash my hair every other day but when I used this I got away without washing it for 2 days. I would definitely recommend this product, even though I received it for free I would be more than happy to spend money on it as it has definitely helped the condition of my hair.

You can buy the InstaNatural Argan Oil Hair Mask from Amazon and instanatural.com - as usual I will post the links at the end.

Highlighting and Contouring Course

Hey!

Yesterday me and Issy went to London to do the MAC highlighting and contouring course we got for our birthdays. It was a long day and we got drenched but we had a lot of fun! I learnt some things I didn't know and we also treated ourselves to yet more make-up 🙈

We had to get the train up to London and then walk from the station to Makeup London Academy in Camden. Literally as soon as we got out the station it started tipping it down with rain, we got drenched and looked like drowned rats but luckily there was a cafe opposite the academy so we went in there for a cuppa to warm up and dry off a bit until our class started.

When we went in we were shown downstairs where the class was held and we had our coats taken and offered drinks so it was a warm welcome. The class can consist of 1-8 students but in our particular one we only had 4 of us in total so it was nice as we could all see what the tutor was doing.

Jules, the tutor, demonstrated on one of the girls that was there for the course. She demonstrated on half her face then once finished we went off to have a go ourselves. Personally, I have had contouring done on me before and I hated it so I opted to practise and Issy was my model.

As we had a train to catch we had to make sure we were on time, Issy knew how to contour before this course so she does it in her daily make up routine anyway (luckily). I done half her face to make sure I got it right, the look was natural and I was really proud of it, I also added some eyeshadow and eyeliner to make her eyes stand out a bit more. By the time I finished half of her face and made eyes even it was pretty much over so it is a good job she contours anyway haha!

Contour and highlighting is a lot easier than I thought it was going to be and today I even tried it on myself and I like how it looks as I tend to do it quite subtle. There are many videos online which contour and highlight most of the face when really its not necessary as it creates a heavier look.

I will be posting a video on my new make up routine when I can get round to filming one! So keep your eyes peeled ☺️

 Issy's contouring.

Hope you've enjoyed reading about my time at the Make up London Academy!

It's a shame you can't buy confidence...

Hey guys,

I know I normally blog about make up and fashion but I've been feeling a bit crappy lately about myself so thought I'd write a blog about it incase anyone else is going through the same thing and can relate or has been through it and can help others get over it!

So I've never been confident to be honest, I always thought my friends were prettier than me and they always got attention whereas I didn't and if I did I would shrug it off as I thought they were just taking the mick.

The end of last year my confidence started to pick up and I felt happier in my body, I don't know whether its because of things that were happening that made me feel like it but it made me feel good and happy. However, lately I've noticed my confidence has gone back down again and I'm starting to feel like I used to which to be honest isn't great.

It's weird how it takes such a long time to build up confidence and it takes a matter of minutes to knock it down again.

If anyone has gone through this please message me so I can start to feel better about myself with any tips you may have, if you are going through this please message me and hopefully we can help each other!

I saw on This Morning once that they got people to write down what they didn't like about themselves on a bit of paper and they got someone else to read it out the them, they then had to write down 3 things they liked about themselves and the guy that read out the negatives then read out the positives along with the 'negatives' however they were also turned into positives so soon enough the girls confidence went up. I don't know if this would work for anyone but you never know.

Also another thing I've seen before is when you wake up in the morning you smile to yourself for 20 seconds, you might feel like an idiot but apparently this works too.

Let me know if any of these work for you and also on any tips!

Thanks for reading :)

Sorella Beauty.

Hey!

Me and my sister, Isobelle, are currently trying to set up our own beauty business called Sorella Beauty. We are both very excited about this as it will give us a chance to do the things we love on the side of our normal jobs and hopefully eventually we can do it full time.

I am going to be doing the make up for Sorella Beauty, I am booked onto a course at the end of September where I will be able to expand my skills and knowledge. I am currently buying new make up and practising on friends on family and I'm absolutely loving it!

We have made up business cards and leaflets using Vistaprint and the quality of them are amazing, I would definitely recommend them to get any products you need printing or designing. Along with all the make up I have been buying I also treated myself to a case so it looks more professional and its easier to carry my equipment around in, I got the case from eBay and it was delivered to me within 2 days - its so cute!

This blog is mainly to try and get some advertisement for the business, so please give out Facebook page a like!

Birthday Month! 🎂👸

Hey Guys!

So it was my 21st birthday on 29th June and as it was my 21st I decided I would have a birthday month! I know it may sound greedy but my next big birthday is going to be 30 😩 who knows where I'll be or what I'll be doing then...

I kicked of my birthday month on 15th June where I went to Somerset for 5 days with some friends, it was actually so decent I had the best time. We had a hot tub in our lodge so we were in there a lot, we had a Mexican night and even had a sports day which was pretty sick. Ashwin took his go pro so I'm looking forward to seeing the video he has made! Whilst we were in Somerset we went to Bristol Zoo, it was quite good there although they didn't have any giraffes which I was gutted about as they're my fave 😔

On the 27th June I had some drinks with my friends from Tadley, I got very drunk and wasn't feeling too good the next day but I had such a good night. Although my sister and Matt thought it would be funny to draw down my face with lipstick whilst I was sleeping, I wasn't too bothered as long as it wasn't my lipstick haha (the one featured in my previous blog). I went home to mums on the 28th and just chilled with her, we watched a film and got KFC it was nice to relax with her for a bit.

On my birthday I went to Marwell Zoo with my mum, dad and sister - it was such a nice day the weather was lovely! Then I went for a family meal to Banana Wharf the food was lovely and the cake I got was gorgeous 😍

As my sisters birthday present I got tickets for us to go and see Ed Sheeran at Wembley so we went to see him on 10th July, he was actually incredible! I would do anything to relive it I'm definitely going to buy the DVD when it comes out. On the 11th I had a BBQ with my friends in Southampton, this was the end of my birthday month unfortunately, we then went into town afterwards.

I had the best birthday month ever, I got lovely presents and just wanna say thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! 🙊😘

Up The Amp.

Hey :)

So I know I haven't posted in a while again, I've been celebrating my 21st birthday and as it was my 21st I had a birthday month which ended Sunday 🙈

As I mentioned in my 'Technical Glitches' post I recently got a new MAC lipstick the shade of it is 'Up The Amp'. I absolutely love the colour of this lipstick, I went to MAC and told them I wanted a purple lipstick and the girls in there were lovely they offered me a consultation to decide which colour was best for my skin and then let me apply the lipsticks so I could see which I preferred.

After trying on about 5-6 different shades of lipstick I eventually chose Up The Amp. The lipstick itself looks a bit daring but I think the shade goes with my skin tone really well. I have worn the lipstick numerous times now and find its lasts hours on end, it has more of a matte finish apposed to the glossy one most lipsticks have so if you want to create a glossy finish I suggest you put some lip balm on before applying the lipstick. This also gives you a smoother look.

As mentioned the lipstick does look dark before you put it on, as you can see in the photo above.

However, when the lipstick is applied it doesn't look as dark as you think.

You can buy the lipstick for £15.50 from any MAC counter or online at www.maccosmetics.co.uk

Mr.Blanc Review.

Hey Guys

So as mentioned previously I am working with Mr.Blanc to review their teeth whitening strips, this is my review. (hopefully this post will work!)

As I work in a dentist I was a bit skeptical as to whether these would work but I was amazed with the results, it works so well and instantly. You can see your teeth getting whiter when the strips are on your teeth, this for me is a good thing as you know you haven't wasted your money and obviously the whitening isn't permanent but even if you get your teeth whitened professionally you have to top it up regularly.

This is a great way to get pearly white teeth especially if you're on a budget, want quick results or if you just want to feel good about yourself. I saw a quote at work the other day which was
"The shortest distance between two people is a smile." I really like this quote as anything can happen when you smile at someone whether it just makes them feel a little bit better if they're having a bad day or something more could happen from it.

If like your teeth you're not going to want to hide your smile so having white teeth is an added bonus for those of you who like your teeth, those of you that don't Mr.Blanc could give you a new found confidence!

When I started Mr.Blanc teeth whitening strips I put the strip of whiteness up against my teeth to see where mine would be on the chart and they were a 5, when I finished my teeth were a 2 which to me was perfect I didn't want them stupidly white. Also the good thing about Mr.Blanc is that yes they are a 2 week supply(well the ones I had) but if you get to the stage of whitening where you are happy and you haven't used all the strips you can stop using them and use them again when you need them. They do say on the packet to use them everyday for 2 weeks but if you're happy with the results theres nothing stopping you from using it how you want.

I have a photo which I took when the strips were on my teeth and another when I had removed the strips.

The top photo is the one where the strips are on my teeth, as you can see they are barely noticeable which is great. The bottom photo is once I took them off, they looked much whiter and I was really happy with the results!

After you remove the strips quite a lot of the gel from the strips tends to get left on your teeth so I always brushed my teeth afterwards to ensure I got rid of all the gel. It really helped, plus it didn't taste too nice either haha.

I would definitely go and buy yourself some Mr.Blanc whitening strips if I were you! Prices start from as little as £24.99 and go up to £58.99. You can buy them online and they post worldwide all you need to do is go to their website
http://www.mrblancteeth.com

Hope you liked reading my review, let me know what you think!

Mr.Blanc 2

Hey guys!

So I mentioned in the last post that I am going to be working with Mr.Blanc I have now received the whitening strips and have used them twice they have worked both times and made my teeth a shade whiter already! I haven't used them everyday, mainly as I've been working and I had a hangover, however both times I've used them I've noticed a difference straight away.

I'm going to write a proper blog post on them when I have used them all and corresponded with the team at Mr.Blanc.

Also I am going to Turkey on 25th April for a week so I will try and do a post before I go :)

If you wanna follow Mr.Blanc on Instagram they put up regular posts on people's progress...this is their instagram page featuring me haha

This is just a quick blog to ask you to check out my sisters blog, she recently competed in the Miss Hampshire final unfortunately she didn't win however she did get placed in the top 7! She done really well considering it was her first year competing they barely make the final.

She is going in for it again next year and has to write a blog explaining what she has done this year, what she is planning on doing next year and about her experience throughout it all so I'd really appreciate it if you kept an eye out for her blog too :)

Scandaleyes

Hey!

So first off I GOT THE JOB! I'm so happy although the hours are killing me at the moment I've been working everyday for over a week and I can't wait until Tuesday when its my day off and I'm going for a spa day so can't wait to get pampered with my best friend 👯

Anyway this week I thought I would do my blog about Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves Mascara. My friend from work always looks like she wears falsies and I've always been envious of her lashes, we went on a girls night out a couple of weeks ago and I used her mascara.

I fell in love and went to get myself one, this is one of my best purchases in a while! The brush gives your lashes volume and lifts, it is a broken heart shaped wand so it can get to the very bottom of your lash line and lifts them right up!

A thing I like about when you search for this product is if you go on the Rimmel London website you can 'Try it on' where you can either upload a photo of yourself to see what the mascara will look like on you before you buy it or you can put it onto one of the models. This is a great way to see if you like it before you go out and buy it.

You can buy Scandaleyes or any other Rimmel London products from the following:
-Superdrug. (Scandaleyes -£6.99)
-Boots. (Scandaleyes -£6.99)
-ASOS. (Scandaleyes -£7.49)
-Feelunique.com (Scandaleyes -£6.99)
-Tesco. (Scandaleyes -from £3.49)
-Very.co.uk (Scandaleyes -£7.00)
-Wilko.com (Scandaleyes -£4.98)

Let me know if you have tried any of the products I have written about and what you think! ☺️

Hollywood🎥

Hey guys,

I have been quite busy the past week so didn't manage to get a post in. It was my best friends 21st birthday party last saturday and she had a hollywood themed party which was great cos everyone got to dress up posh, there was a red carpet and even someone filming the event which gave it a proper hollywood feel!

The reason why I have decided to do my blog based on the party this week is because I wanted to show you the outfit I wore, the make up and how I had my hair. I will list all products below with the links as usual.

The dress I wore was from Missguided. Its called Koemi One Shoulder Bustier Split Maxi Dress, the colour I got was Cobalt Blue. They also have it in Nude, Coral and Oxblood. I wore a size 8.

I had my make up done professionally at Benefit Cosmetics. I didn't have to pay for it as my mum bought so much make up from them for my christmas presents I received a free make over and 10% discount on any products I bought on the day. The lady was really nice, she talked me through what she was applying and kept checking whether I liked how it looked incase she needed to change anything. I was really happy with the service and make over I got, so thanks Benefit!

I had my hair in a slick, tight pony tail which I finished off with my Lauren Pope Syn wrap ponytail. I absolutely love this hair piece, its quick and easy to apply and went well with the hollywood theme and my dress! (sorry about the photo its the best one I have of a side view of my hair)

Aussie hair.

Hey!

This week's blog is about Aussie hair products, I actually found that I won't go back to any other products after using these. They have made my hair come back to life in a short amount of time.

I have been dying my hair since I was in year 4, my mum used to put highlights in it and then as I got older I wanted to experiment with different colours - I went from dark brown to blonde then decided I wanted blue in it, after blue I went back to blonde then not long later I wanted my hair dip dyed pink so I had that, which ended up damaging my hair so much! (wouldn't recommend it)

I have recently had my hair dyed back to a brown with a few blonde bits, when the pink was growing out the ends of my hair broke off I discovered 'Aussie'. I first of all discovered the '3 minute miracle reconstructor deep conditioner' I used it once a week for and slowly started to notice the difference it was making to my hair. Eventually my hair has got back to its normal condition, its started to grow longer again and I make sure I have it cut every 6-8 weeks to make sure it stays healthy.

My sister works in a salon and a customer came in with a bag of Aussie products, my sister doesn't use Aussie so gave them to me and they've also helped my hair. The one I'm using at the moment is called 'Colour Mate' I use both the shampoo and conditioner and it has left my hair feeling silky smooth. Colour Mate has peach extract in so your hair will be smelling lovely too! As usual I will post all links at the end of the blog :)

You can either buy these products from
Boots The Chemist - prices ranging : £4.69-£5.99
Superdrug - prices ranging : £0.99-£5.99
Savers- £0.99-£5.99 (I always get my products from Savers as they work out cheaper per bottle, today I bought the shampoo and conditioner both for £5.98, from the other stores they charge £4.49 per bottle)

Thanks for reading!

Undress Me Too.

Hey Guys!

I have decided for this weeks blog to do a review on MUA's eyeshadow palette, Undress Me Too, this is one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes to wear and it if it were in a save, spend or splurge it would definitely be in save as its only £4! You can buy MUA products from Superdrug or at the MUA website, I will post the link at the end.

I discovered the Undress Me Too palette over a year ago when I was doing a make up photography shoot and didn't want to spend a lot of money as I was a student at the time and was using the make up on my models. I then discovered how well the make up stayed on and also the tones you can create with the different colours in the palette.

The colours I would use when I use Undress Me Too, the white palette, are:
Shy
Lavish
Tranquil
Exposed
Reveal
Wink
Obsessed

I tend to use these colours because they are a mix of light and dark browns, which I've found bring out my eyes more (I have bluey/green eyes), at first I would only use one colour but then I wanted to experiment and discovered you could blend the colours to make different tones and effects with the eyeshadows. You can also get another eyeshadow palette, which is similar colours, called Undress Me (the black palette).

This is they eye make up I like to create, its quick and easy to create and only takes 3 colours to do!
Lavish, Exposed and Obsessed - to finish the look off I add the They're Real Benefit Eyeliner, of course this is optional, and mascara.

I hope you like this post! MUA is a really good brand and is a good option for those of you who can't afford expensive/branded make up, its a good alternative from the Benefit 'Goodies a go-go'.

Daily make up routine

Hi!

Happy New Year...hope 2015 has been a good year for you so far!

I thought I'd post a photo with the make up I use on a daily basis and how it normally looks after. The make up I use is all from Benefit Cosmetics and I will post the links to the website too so if you want to buy any you're just a click away :)

I start off with the 'They're Real remover' this will remove any excess eyeliner, eyeshadow or mascara you still have on. I then apply the 'Porefessional' to smooth my skin out and as it is a primer it keeps my make up on all day. The foundation I use is 'Hello Flawless' I use Honey (I'm so money), I have done a blog on Hello Flawless before so I will put the link at the end. 'Feelin' Dandy' is one of my newer Benefit products I have - I love the fact it gives your skin a warm glow...sometimes if I want to I will add 'Hoola' bronzer over the top. 'Goodies a go-go' is also a new product I have, inside it includes 4 mini eyeshadows, eyeshadow primer and a mini 'They're Real' mascara, I tend to mix all 4 eyeshadows together and use the lightest as a highlighter under my eyebrows. Most of the time I will then apply 'They're Real' eyeliner and mascara.

In this photo I haven't got the Hoola bronzer on but I am wearing everything else I mentioned! :) It is quite a natural look which is why I like it and doesn't take long to do!
